168 stories from the Bible, each one complete in itself, while together forming one narrative running from Genesis to Revelation. Profusely Illustrated with 17 color maps, color plates and half-tone engravings.
The final part of the book consists of 60+ pages of Lessons for Teaching Children from both the Old and New Testaments. From the Preface to this section: "We divided the children into two sections, the First Section including all over nine years old; the Second Section all those under nine. By separating the children into two grades, the older young people can receive instruction suited to their age, and the little ones are also provided for."
