This comedy drama was directed by Federico Fellini. This film propelled Alberto Sordi's career, and he starred in it alongside Franco Fabrizi and Franco Interlenghi. It chronicles the lives of five young men, living in a small town in Italy, at an important juncture of their lives. Enrico De Seta's opulent design for this poster focuses on the annual masquerade ball, where Fausto (Franco Fabrizi) is captivated by his employer's wife, the beautiful Giulia Curti (Lída Baarová). Very few of these 1953 Italian posters are known to have survived.
