Nanking, Chinese Organising Committee, volumes I, II and IV only, original silk cloth binding, numerous black and white illustrations, the first edition, and most extensive bilingual version of the landmark exhibition organised by the Chinese Nationalist government with significant input from Sir Percival David. The exhibition of 3000 pieces included 800 works from the Chinese Imperial collection, exhibited in London for the first time, 30 x 22cm. (3)
