IMPERIAL GERMAN BELT BUCKLES HELMET BAYONET LOT

Lot of Imperial German items to include 1) S 84/98 nA COMBAT BAYONET.. Second pattern example of the M1884/98 knife bayonet used with the Mauser Gewehr 98. The second pattern represents the first new production M1884/98 bayonet. This example was made in 1917 by Gebruder Heller of Marienthal. It carries the Royal Cypher of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Prussia, who reigned 1888ñ1918. Wilhelm II was the "Kaiser Wilhelm" of First World War fame.2) BATTLE DAMAGED†M16 CAMOUFLAGE HELMET SHELL.†The stamped, sheet steel construction, helmet retains a good portion of its hand painted camouflage. The camouflage paint is in shades of dark green and red in a random patch pattern with the colors being separated by black stripes. Liner is now missing. Shell is marked "TJ68" Nice untouched original camo. 3)†M1847 PRUSSIAN EM/NCO'S BELT BUCKLE.†An early, pre-1895 pattern, two-piece brass and nickel/silver construction Prussian belt buckle. The 52mm, slightly convex, stamped metal box buckle, features, against its plain, obverse field, a crown to its domed center, encompassed by a dual rope-like border within which, against a ribbed background, is "Gott Mit Uns" (God [is] With Us), and a spray of laurels. To the reverse is its raised buckle catch, and a metal prong bar with dual prongs, for the beltís retaining tongue. Unmarked. 4)†PRUSSIAN EM/NCO'S BELT BUCKLE. 1895 pattern, two-piece brass and nickel/silver construction Prussian belt buckle. The 48mm, slightly convex, stamped metal box buckle, features, against its plain, obverse field, a crown to its domed center, encompassed by a dual rope-like border within which, against a ribbed background, is "Gott Mit Uns" (God [is] With Us), and a spray of laurels. Dent to the face plate. To the reverse is its raised buckle catch, and a metal prong bar with dual prongs, for the beltís retaining tongue.
