Imperial German Cavalry Officer Whistle Guard Sword. Slightly curved, quillback, bright blade. Blade width is 1 1/8". Maker mark / logo of WK & C on the ricasso. Stamped "1887" on the spine. Leather buffer pad present. Nickel-silver plated steel hilt with signal whistle on the quillion. 3 branch "D" guard, fish skin grip with triple twisted wire. Double ringed black steel scabbard. Blade Length: 33" | Total Length: 38 3/8"
