Imperial German Guards Cuirassier Model 1889 Officer Dress Sword. Single edged, Dual fullered, straight blade. Triple acid etching of heavy cavalry scene, patriotic, floral designs and "Garde Kurassier regiment" inscription. Gilded brass hilt with Kaiser Wilhelm II cypher insert to fixed guard. Shark-skin covered grip with triple twisted wire and King's monogram insignia in the center. Leather buffer pad and finger loop present. No scabbard. Blade Length: 33.5" | Total Length: 39.5"
