Imperial German M1852 / 79 Train Guard Battalion Sword. Slightly curved blade with fuller. Double acid etched mounted soldier scene with floral pattern and "Garde Train Battalion" on one side. No markings visible. Alloy hilt, basket style guard, composite grip with triple twisted wire. One ring steel scabbard. Blade Length: 32 3/4" | Total Length: 37 3/4"
Condition Report: Good/Fair. Blade has dark spots and pitting throughout. Hilt has finish wear.
