Imperial German Model 1889 Infantry Officer Presentation Sword. Damascus, dual fullered, straight blade. 5" in length, triple acid etching on light gray background with gold wash, depicting floral design with the Prussian Cypher on one side and "Eisenhauer, Damast-Stahl" on the reverse. Maker mark / logo of Clemen & Jung, Solingen stamped on the ricasso. Gilded brass hilt with Kaiser Wilhelm II Eagle inset to fixed guard. Hand engraved dedication on the back-guard "Oberst Lieutenant Bescius Das Offizier-Corps Des Infanterie Regiment No 10 An 22 Marz 1897". Ray-skin covered wood grip with triple wire and Wilhelm II monogram in the center. One ring, black anodized steel scabbard. Blade Length: 31.3/4" | Total Length: 38"
