Imperial German Saxon Artillery Officer Lionhead Sword. Slightly curved, quillback blade. Acid etched with gold inlay near the ricasso depicting the Royal Monogram of King Frederick Augustus III on one side and the Royal cypher of Saxony on the other. Maker marked "Weyersberg Kirshbaum & Co, Solingen" stamped on the ricasso. Decorated Nickel-Silver plated brass hilt. Sharkskin wrapped grip with twisted wire. Lionhead pommel. Blade width 1.1/8" at ricasso. Two ring, steel scabbard. Blade Length: 32.5" | Total Length: 38"
