Late 18th-early 19th c. Hepplewhite Mahogany Chairs with stepped rail, ornate pierced and urn shaped back splat, upholstered in later ochre leather with brass tacking, set on square tapered legs ending in spade feet. Cf. Albert Sack Fine Points of Furniture, p. 56, best. 17 3/4" seat, 35" back, 18" x 22". Very good condition.
