IMPRESSIVE PERIOD DIANA THE HUNTRESS BRONZE

BULIO, Jean, (French, 1827-1911): Diana the Huntress with Hound, Patinated Bronze, 26" in height, 28" in height overall with beveled marble plinth, signed. Bow and quiver are detachable. Sold with period ebonized wooden pedestal, 23.25" h. This piece was reportedly acquired from the Straus Estate, the former owners of Macy's Department Store.
Condition Report: Minor wear to patina, age-appropriate wear, left arm will need to be tightened, older repair to bow. This bronze was cast in multiple parts. Pedestal has minor wear and some paint loss.
