INDIAN KRISHNA 18K YELLOW GOLD AND RUBY AMULET, triangular form with high-relief decoration, depicting the God Krishna Dancing on the head of Demon Kaliya (Kaliyadamana), flanked by two birds, bail and lower edge set with a total of four ruby cabochons, lower edge also with three drops, interior probably filled with an unknown material. Unmarked, tested as 18K gold fineness, but probably made of a higher fineness. Total weight including non-gold materials: 77.5 grams. 20th century. 3 3/8" x 3" x 3/4" OA.
