Edged weapon lot to include 1) M1873 TRAPDOOR SPRINGFIELD SOCKET BAYONET. Trapdoor Bayonet with leather frog and brass US swivel, US Marked 20" socket bayonet for the Trapdoor Springfield rifle. In excellent condition with minimal loss of finish at the muzzle ring, age wear. 2) WWI IMPERIAL GERMAN ENGRAVED OFFICERS GROSSE SWORD. Dove head style Imperial German Officer's sword with wire wrapped grip. Blade measures approximately 20 1/4" inches and has been shortened and is engraved with beautiful panels with battle honors, floral patterns, crest of Arms and is identified to Feld. Art. Regt. v.
