INDIAN WARS MODEL 1872 CAVAKRY OFFICER'S SWORD

Made by the The Warnock Co. New York. The sword has a 34" slightly curved blade with unstopped fullers on each side. marked The Warnock Co. New York at ricasso. Mostly smooth bright blade has some slight bending side to side. Brass hilt with ornate knuckle bow and pommel. Knuckle bow has slight bend. Hilt has "play" from blade. Retains original leather wrap, twisted brass wire and washer. Solid nickel plated steel scabbard with brass mounts. Very Good
