A hundred years ago Leo Spaventa Filippi was born in Milan. His father, a journalist and writer, was the founder of the Corriere dei Piccoli. In the family, Leo will meet Leonardo Borgese, Tommaso Marinetti, Carlo Carrà, Ada Blacks and Margherita Sarfatti. His exhibition activity is intense, participating in the major Milanese exhibitions of the time, Brera Biennales, trade union exhibitions, as well as the Bergamo Prize of 1939. In 1931 he left Milan to move to Morazzone.
