INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER M1 GARAND SEMI AUTO RIFLE.

Cal. 30-06. S# 4586171. Bbl. 24" LMR 5-53 dated. Muzzle gauges 5 & 2. Blade front sight with protective ears. T105E1 rear sight. All parts have IHC drawing numbers. Parkerized finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels & Julian date in channel. Left side of stock has very faint "DOD eagle" cartouche. No visible circled "P" on bottom of wrist. Right side of stock has white tape stripe. CONDITION: stock appears arsenal refinished with a couple small handguard cracks, some dings & handling marks. Underside of receiver shows discoloration, oxidation & some pitting. Balance of metal shows overall fading with a notable area of black oxidation on receiver, some pitting mostly on handguard clips, oxidation, edge wear & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Fair bore with pitting & frosting along its length but good rifling. (26-3438/MJC). CURIO. $1000-1500.
