PROVENANCE The present contact sheet comes from the collection of Austrian photographer Roland Pleterski, who worked as an assistant for Penn in 1953 in New York. Pleterski became a close friend of Penn and his wife Lisa Fonssagrives, to whom he shared a special relationship.
