Cotton warp and weft, wool pile. The ivory-coloured ground is enhanced by an elegant polychrome floral design. An ivory-coloured border featuring floral scrolls is framed by two counter-borders. The carpet is signed on both sides. Central Persia, circa 1950–1980, 172 x 99 cm(slight wear and fraying). Expert: Alexandre Chevalier.
