Condition Report:
The relief is a fragment and as such there are losses to all four sides of the relief, and there are chips and abrasions to the edges throughout. There is a darkish patina to the surface which has rubbed in areas, including the high points of the face, the shoulder and the torso. There are scattered chips to the surface, in particular to the lower half of the relief, around the legs of the boy, to his stomach, and next to the proper right leg. There is a loss to the boy's proper left forearm. The relief is mounted on a modern metal base.
