ITALIAN MOTTAHEDEH CERAMIC POT DE CREME NINE-PIECE SET, comprising an 11" D circular tray and eight covered pots with relief floral and dot decorations, molded branch handles and applied figural flower finials to cover, each having blue-printed "MADE / IN / ITALY" to underside. Together with an English bowl featuring polychrome hand-painted floral motif to exterior and swag design to interior rim with red hand-brushed "396" to underside and a German Meissen saucer with molded gilt leaf decoration, having underglaze blue-crossed swords mark to underside. Eleven (11) pieces total. Pot de Creme set fourth quarter 20th century and other 19th century. Bowl 2 7/8" H, 6" D rim.
Catalogue Note: The pot de creme set are reproductions from an 18th century design made by the Pont aux Choux factory in France. The factory, established during the last years of the ancient regime of Louis XVI, produced delicate creamware or white soft paste designs. The original cups of this design come from the collection of the Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, France.

Condition Report: Mostly undamaged, except tray having a minute flake to rim; two pots with a faint rim hairline, one cover finial with glued petal, and two finials with losses.
