Condition: The dial, hands, and hour markers have spotting throughout due to age which can be expected. The watch has superficial scratches due to normal wear and age. The left side of the case has a couple of tool marks and a couple of dings where a watchmaker would insert a tool to open the case back. Overall condition of the watch is good. Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy nor water resistance/proofness. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.
Special Notes: The inside of the case back is stamped with the IWC logo, a six digit serial number, and the letters PM which indicates platinum. The movement has a seven digit number. Vintage platinum IWC watches are very rare.
