This icon has occupied one of the most important positions in a church iconostasis: either to the left of the royal doors as an pendant for the Mother of God or above the doors as the central icon of the intercession row. Christ seated upon a throne at the centre making the blessing sign and holding an open Gospel. Condition: authentic icon in original condition executed in bright colours such as red.
