Icon, Deesis. Mother of God - Brass, Wood - 18th century

Antique Russian Icon of Deesis. Holy Mother of God. Estimated period is 18th Century. Looks to be Oil Egg Tempera on thick wood, covered with the original brass (non-restored, changed) Riza. Due to the age, the Icon shows wear - paint chipping offs, the Riza being original it also shows wear, tears, rust spots. On the back of the wood there are 2 supporters to avoid more bending of the wood.
