On a grand piano is a beautifully incorporated flower in Art Nouveau style. The saints are depicted on wood. Hand-painted with egg tempera colours on chalk background and golden primer. The saints are labelled. The inscriptions are sometimes difficult to read. Partial restorations are present. The painting is very detailed and expressive. The painting has very fine, authentic craquelure (see photos) . At the bottom, the icon is provided with a total of four hallmarks. 1. Russian letters "НА" 2. Russian letters "ЛО" and 1894 3. "88" silver sample 4. “St. George the dragon-slayer” = Moscow The triptych was made in a smaller goldsmith's workshop in Moscow in 1894. From a rather not very well-known master. The saints on wood might even be older. The silver sample "88" zolotniki is rather rare and can hardly be found anymore. Much more common is the "84" silver sample.
