Carte backmarked Reeve & Watts, Columbus, Ohio. Image signed in ink on obverse "Yours Truly S.B. Mustard. 2.) Waist-up view of officer wearing double breasted jacket and major's/lt.colonel's shoulder rank straps. Carte lacks backmark. Image identified on reverse in pencil "Excelsior Brigade, Joseph B. Carr, Colonel, 2nd New York" Carr 3.) Standing full-length view of officer wearing 9-button jacket and lieutenant's shoulder rank straps. Kepi is seen on table. Carte backmarked Brady's Gallery, New York/Washington DC. Image identified on obverse and reverse as "Clark Hunt". Clark T. Hunt enlisted on September 9,1862 as a 1st Lieutenant and was commissioned into Company G, of the 30th New Jersey Infantry. He was mustered out on June 27,1863. 4.) Seated knees-up view of officer wearing 9-button jacket and lieutenant's shoulder rank straps. Carte lacks backmark and exhibits a 2-cent tax stamp. Reverse of carte signed in ink "J.G. Johnson M.D., A.A. Surgeon U.S.A. March 14th 1864." Obverse of carte signed beneath image "J.G. Johnson, A.A. Surgeon U.S.A.". 5.) Standing full-length view of sergeant wearing 9-button Veteran's Reserve jacket and holding kepi. Carte backmarked Knecht, Easton, Pennsylvania. Reverse of image features long entry in newer ink related to soldier John Labagh and his history.
