Imilac Meteorite End Cut Pallasite, PMG Antofagasta, Chile - (24° 12' 12"S, 68° 48' 24"W) Found: 1822 A simply exquisite specimen of the Imilac Meteorite, this example of a Pallasite offers a fashionable end cut form with wonderful crystals visible even on the exterior. With relatively large greenish-golden hued crystals against the reflective "mirrored" silver surface, this is incredible, and the natural cavity near the edge is a bonus feature. The example is loosely shaped like a heart from a certain orientation and offers an incredible exterior which is unmistakably Pallasite as Olivine is visible amid the rugged brownish skin. With a respectable weight over 215 grams, this stands as a collectible example of a top Pallasite variety. Overall Measurements: 3.06 x 2.57 x 0.82 inches (7.78 x 6.54 x 2.08 cm), weighs 215.6 grams [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
