Marvellous image of the Immaculate Virgin. Delicate work in terracotta in which the sculptor’s work is masterful, giving the group the appearance of great movement. Mary holds the edge of her cloak to her chest. Her clothing is decorated painstakingly with polychromed posies of flowers on a starred and gilded background. At her feet are five cherubins with extremely delicate features, as well as the apple and the snake. 42 x 22 cm.
