Important ecclesiastical Bishop's ring having a large faceted center oval stone, possibly amethyst, enclosing a shard of bone purportedly from a monk within a border of gold and approx. 30 brilliant cut diamonds. The hand hammered silver shoulders are mounted with gold fleur de lis set with three diamonds (one side missing a diamond), the base of the ring inset with a ruby. Size 7 3/4.
