Platypeltoides sp. . It belongs to the Lower Ordovician, and comes from the Fezouata formation in the Zagora region (Morocco) . It has a length of 55 mm. It appears in the book Moroccan Trilobites "Ordovician" and an important article in an American magazine. The winner of the bid will be sent the PDF of the scientific article where it appears.
It is possibly the only specimen of this genus that has appeared with those small genal spines. There are some species of young Platypeltoides (holaspis) that have small genal spines that they lose with growth. That is why in the scientific article it was left in open nomenclature.
It is ideal for a large public or private collection.
