Important tableware set. From the Del Vecchio Manufactory, Naples, circa 1820.

Consisting of an important glazed earthenware tureen (unmarked) with a lid decorated with ringed heads and lion’s feet, featuring blue and gold background bands with plant motifs, and a pine cone-shaped lid handle (total height 41 cm) (a chip on the rim beneath the lid), two oval baskets with marks on the undersides of their bases (22 x 7.5 cm) accompanied by a plate with a perforated rim and handles featuring heads with raised caps (27 x 22 cm), one of which bears a mark (one with a through crack and a break on a ring of the band, the other with a through crack that starts from the lower edge and reaches the base), a salad bowl bearing a mark impressed under the base (d 28.5 x 8 cm), 3 oval serving plates with marks under the bases, two of which are small (29.5 x 23.5 cm) and one large with a mark under the base (36 x 28.5 cm) (chip on the rim), a round serving dish with a mark under the base (d 32 cm), 12 dinner plates (d 24 cm), one of which has been reassembled and one with a restored chip along the rim. All pieces are marked “FD V N.” on the bottom, except for the tureen and one of the baskets. Slight chips along the edges.
