Impressive and rare 18th century Meissen group of two Freemasons, modelled by or after Kaendler, in the white, the two figures shown studying a globe resting on a plinth, with tools laid in front of them and a pug at their feet, faint crossed swords mark to base, 22.5cm highCondition Report Good overall condition. Some signs of restoration, including to the tools, the standing figure's forefinger and a corner of his hat, the dog's front paws, and a corner of the column on the ground. Some very minor losses. A firing crack or hairline on the base with tiny associated loss on the back.
