In the style of GEORGE NAKASHIMA Dining Table. Trestle Base. American Walnut. Two 14" extension leaves. Note- This is is being sold as "in the style" of George Nakashima. While the item was part of the Mezger estate, and will receive a letter of provenance, the Nakashima studio was not willing to write a letter of attribution. This item was likely made by a member of the workshop, but not to an official or known George Nakashima design. The items from lot 695 though 742 were acquired from the estate of Katherine Mezger. Katherine was employed by the Nakashima studios in the 1960's through 1969. All the pieces in her collection were acquired directly from the workshop during her years there and resided in her home until Uniques and Antiques was selected to sell her collection in mid 2021. Condition Report: Two 14 inch leaves. Top surface is warped. Two leaves do not fit snugly against the center top. Light wear.
