Incense burner, Vases (3) - Bronze - Bird, Chimera, Flowers, Foo dogs - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)

Japan - Meïji period Important set consisting of a perfume burner with two bronze tripod handles decorated with a bird landed on the branches and a cover where a chimera is sitting. The bottom of the latter is decorated and a carefully incised inscription (a handle to be restored and a dent) The perfume burner is accompanied by two vases with handles forming elephant's heads. Also decorated with a double-sided scene of a bird landed on the branches. One of the two vases with a signed plaque and incised inscription, decorated with a turtle and cranes under its base.
