Edward Woolfrey was born in St Philips, Bristol and was a baker upon his enlistment on 14 October 1857. He was discharged on 2 September 1878, his name having appeared in the Defaulters Book twice, also being tried by Court Martial twice; sold with copied service record. Wollfrey was in receipt of a 1st Class Certificate of Education.
