Indian Mughal Short Sword HORN GRIP & Ribbed Guard
Single edged blade shows heavy salt and pepper spotting and oxidation with scalloped linear engravings at the forte. Horn grip scales are pinned through the tang. Forged iron D-guard features recurved scrolled terminals with a deep dark patina. Leather wrapped wood scabbard exhibits heavy shrinkage and surface loss at the throat and surface oxidized iron chape. Length 30.5 inches, blade length 23.5 inches.
