Indian Gilt Bronze Sculpture of Shiva in the form of Nataraja, late 19th or early 20th century, the deity performing the cosmic dance of creation encircled by a prabhamandala and squashing Apasmara, the dwarf demon of ignorance beneath his foot, Siva adorned with bracelets, necklaces, and a headdress with snakes; his back right hand holding a damaru, his front right hand in the abhaya / fear-not mudra, and holding agni in his back left palm, perched upon a lotus atop a rectangular base. 10" H x 9" W x 2.5" D.
