Kutch, fourth quarter 19th century, the pear-shaped body richly decorated with a dense foliate scroll pattern with pheasants hiding throughout, with lobed calyx, "gooseneck" spout, pierced foliate foot-ring and cast scrolling handle, the domed lid lobed and decorated en suite and with figural coiled cobra finial, the interior gilt.
