Indian metal bags, and hand warmers, the first probably mid-20th century, the hand warmers for 19th century carriage use: the larger bag, in shaped and embossed brass, lined in purple velvet with long chain; together with a small silver metal example, lined in velvet, with cord handle and silk tassels; and two incised metal hand warmers, opening , hinged, one in brass inset with stones, the other in silver metal with star detail, would have been fitted with a small oil lamp suspended by a gyroscope mechanism, both lacking these innards.
