[Indonesia]. Anonymous (late 19th/ early 20th cent.). Collection of 26 mounted albumen prints of the sugar production factory Djatiwangi and surrounding houses, gardens and fields, ±1900, each 16,4x22,5 cm., laid down on thick grey boards.
- A few mounts sl. waterstained in upper margin.
= Showing people at work in the factory, the gentlemen running the company (all dressed in white), the grounds outside the factory (incl. what appears to be the house with gardens of the director of the factory), and incl. a photograph of the factory seen from the outside with a chimney with two dates painted on its side: "1884" and "1896".
