3rd-2nd millennium BC. A terracotta vessel with squat bulbous body, everted rim, flat base and painted circumferential bands to the body, with geometric fill composed of vertical lines and circles. 250 grams, 13cm (5"). Property of an Essex gentleman; acquired on the UK art market; previously from an old English collection formed in the 1980s. [No Reserve]
