A charming creme-coloured ceramic figurine of zebu bull. The animal is painted with stripes on the back and shoulders, and on exaggerated crescent horns.
The Zebu bull, a distinctive breed characterized by its humped shoulders and large dewlap, played a crucial role in the agricultural and religious life of the ancient Indus Valley civilization. These bulls were prized for their strength and endurance, making them well-suited for ploughing fields and pulling carts.
