Condition Report:
Original canvas. The work appears to be in very good overall condition. Some rubbing and abrasion to the lower edge. Some surface dirt. Some minor surface scuffs and scratches in places. A patch on the reverse corresponding to an old repair to the horses tail in the centre right of the composition. UV light inspection reveals a small area of possible retouching corresponding to the aforementioned repair. No further evidence of any retouching or restoration. Held in a gold painted wooden frame.
