Inkwell - marble r bronze of 1

Important inkwell with a large marble base in orange, beige, brown colours, with other veins. It’s composed of a ground surface, resting on four brass rings that are its base, and on the front base there is a slot to place the pens. Then there is a brass kerb that supports the second marble surface, always of the same colour. A corner is slightly bevelled, without affecting the beauty of the inkwell, and you barely see it thanks to the bright colours on which there are the two ink bottles in decorated bronze with roses. Inside, there are the two glasses: one has a missing piece of glass, the other one is intact, size 9 cm x 9 cm. Between the two there is a winged lion, symbol of the empire and of strength, with a paw on a book, also made of bronze; size 10 cm x 4 cm. Such antiques are rare, because you usually find them in silver or brass, but they are rare in marble and bronze. The item was part of my ancestors’ collection. I sold many of them.
