Bronze sculpture by the sculptor Paul Comolera (French, 1818–1897) Made between 1860 and 1870. The authentic signature “Comolera” is engraved on the upper part of the base. The sculpture is characterised by the traditional pheasant depicted in his artworks, fixed on an oval wooden base with two glass ink bottles on the sides. The ink bottles (one slightly damaged, as shown in the photo) can be removed from the base. Base dimensions: 36 x 22 Sculpture dimensions: 20 x 20 Tracked and insured shipping via courier.
