Inlaid Cherry Tall Clock with Masonic Motifs, possibly Connecticut, early 19th century, with swan's-neck cresting centering a cast brass eagle finial, above a removable tombstone door and painted wooden dial with a ship in the arch, and thirty-hour wooden works movement, the waist with flanking quarter-columns and shaped door inlaid with a trowel, a ladder, and other Masonic imagery, centering a compass and square within a columned arch, the base with diagonal banding centering an inlaid letter "G" hanging on a loop of string, patterned geometric stringing throughout, ht. with finial 96 1/4 in.
