From the study by Jose Luis Romero Torres, who did an in depth analysis of the immaculate virgin in the early 17th century Seville School, it can be extrapolated that the sculptor´s modelling and characteristics are extremely close to Bernabé de Gaviria´s way of working (Pablo de Rojas´ son in law, who continued with his workshop) and the García brothers´.
