The electric start model was produced by Innocenti almost exclusively to help the many war invalids who, due to lack of legs, could not start the vehicle by pedal.

This Lambretta, as stated in the booklet, belonged to a first category invalid from Messina and the starting, as well as by pedal, takes place via a 6 volt battery positioned behind the backrest of the sidecar with a lever to be pulled on the left of the handlebar
