Durenceau was a French artist who emigrated to America in 1929, bringing with him the French illustration technique of pochoir. Inspirations is an Art Deco textile pattern book, an increasingly rare find as a complete set.
Condition Report: Rubbing with some abrasions and dampstains to boards; light dampstaining to introductory folios; leaves and plates toned somewhat with minor edgewear; very good overall.
