Ira Sapir "Elliptical" Series Art Glass Sculpture

Ira Sapir (American, born 1955). A large modern glass charger from the "Elliptical" series having a green frosted exterior and abstract waves of red and brown overlay in the interior. Apparently unsigned. Approx: h. 20", w. 21", d. 4". Note: Accompanied with acrylic stand. Provenance: From The Estate of Alvin and Charlotte Ferst of Atlanta, Georgia. Purchased from The Great American Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia for $2,600 in 1986.
