An attractive handmade wool Iranian Turkmen rug from region of "Gombad Kabous" circa 1970 measuring 95 x 70cm (3' x 2. 2') . Central Gul panel design surrounded by interlinked borders in cream and light orange colours having long lash fringes. This rug has a very fine and tight weave and although has bit of age has remained in good clean condition with a consistent pile. This rug was exported from Iran before 2015
